Introducing the Drug Awareness Education Hub: Empowering Communities to Combat Substance Abuse

January 12, 2024 – Today marks a significant milestone with the launch of the Drug Awareness Education Hub, a dedicated platform committed to providing vital knowledge about the dangers of drugs and substance abuse. The goal of the initiative is to empower young people to make informed decisions and combat the perception of a large percentage of high-school students who believe that “Using drugs is cool.”

Mission and Impact

The Drug Awareness Education Hub is on a mission to break the cycle of misinformation and save our youth from the dangers of drugs. Through a comprehensive video library, our focus is on education, providing individuals with the tools they need to make informed decisions about drug use and substance abuse.

Community Collaboration

We invite collaboration from parents, educators, law enforcement, drug treatment centers, and community leaders to join hands in creating a drug-free future. Together, we can make a lasting impact on our community’s well-being.

Evidence-Based Success

Our evidence-based programs have demonstrated positive outcomes. For instance, two years after the broadcast of “One Family’s Battle,” heroin-related deaths declined by over fifty percent in Oregon.

Free Trial

As part of their commitment to the campaign to spreading awareness, they offer a 7-day FREE TRIAL for the Drug Awareness Education Videos. This trial allows individuals to experience firsthand the impact of these programs and contribute to building a safer, more informed community.

According to the Saving Our Children Campaign Founder, Tom Monson, “If you sit your kids down and have them watch these videos, they will understand more about the dangers of drugs. You can do that in the 7-day trial. ”

Quotes from Community Leaders

“A powerful tool that will have a significant, positive impact on those who watch it.”
— First Lady, Oregon

“Excellent job of describing the ease with which a young person can become imprisoned and then destroyed by heroin.”
— Chief of Police

Change the Misconception

Monson concluded, “We must change the misconception of our kids who believe ‘Using drugs is cool.’ We have to take action now because only about half of them understand how dangerous using drugs can be. This is one of the most important issues affecting our young people today.”
